The free trial (3 days, 20 seats) and publishing
Creating never starts the clock. Publish when you are ready to show guests; the trial runs 3 days and holds up to 20 seats.
Draft first, trial later
A freshly created invitation is a draft: you can open it from your dashboard and from the preview button, but anyone else who tries the link gets a "not found" page. Take as long as you like — editing a draft costs nothing and does not start the trial.
Publishing
When you want real people to open it, press Publish in the banner at the top of the dashboard (you need to have saved the invitation to your email first). From that moment the free trial runs for 3 days, counted from the minute you pressed the button. The banner shows how many days are left.
The trial is the real thing: guests open the same links they will use later, they can RSVP, wishes and views are counted, and every feature works. Two limits apply until you pay:
- 20 seats in total across all your guest parties (a party of 4 uses 4 seats). Adding a party that would go over the limit is refused with a clear message; reduce seats or pay.
- 3 days online. The clock starts once and is never reset — publishing again, editing or switching templates does not restart it.
When the trial ends
Guests who open a link see a polite "this invitation's free trial has ended" page. Nothing is deleted: your content, guests, RSVPs and seating stay in the dashboard exactly as they were. Press Keep it forever and pay $39 once — the invitation is back online the moment the payment confirms, the seat limit disappears, and it never expires again.
