Privacy and deleting data
What we keep, who is in charge of guest data, and how to remove a guest, an invitation or your whole account.
What we keep
Only what the service needs: the content you type and upload, your guest list (party names, greeting names, and any names, phones and emails you add), RSVP answers and messages, wishes, daily view counts, and the email you sign in with. Payments are handled by Stripe; we keep the order record, never the card. Invitation pages tell search engines not to index them, and the addresses are random, so they are not discoverable — only reachable by people who have the link.
Guest data: you are in charge
You decide who goes on the list; we store it for you. Add only people you actually know and may invite, and remove anyone who asks. If a guest writes to us instead of you, we will handle it together with you. The privacy policy has the full wording.
Removing things yourself
- A guest or a party — Guests page: Remove next to a name, or Delete party. Deleting a party also deletes its RSVP answers and its seat in the chart.
- A photo or a text — Edit page: tick the remove box, or clear the field, and save.
- A wish — delete it from the wishes list in the dashboard.
- A whole invitation — Overview page, at the bottom under Delete this invitation: type the invitation's address name to confirm, then Delete permanently. This removes the content, ceremonies, guests, RSVPs, wishes, seating and view counts at once and cannot be undone. Payment records stay, as the law requires.
Deleting your account
Write to us from the address you signed up with. We confirm within a few days and complete the deletion within 30 days, apart from payment records we must keep.
Trial invitations
An invitation whose trial ended and that was never paid for may be removed after a while. If you want to keep it, pay for it or export what you need.
